Online education in India; rural and urban
This is the 21st
Century. Gone are the days where we used to stand in long queues at the movies’,
the days where we used to walk or drive to our favorite restaurant just to grab
that chilly cheese burger. Time has passed, we have grown, and so has the
technology. But, in a country of 1.2 Billion people and counting, it isn’t just
fair enough to think that all of the men and women; their children, are
availing these benefits, rather they cannot.
There are villages, the beautiful
landscapes of the Southern Asia Pacific has its horrific hidden truth, where
little kids still walk miles just to attend that one class wherein probably
they’re taught the names of the five most significant rivers of the India, and
the Indian peninsula. Remember the film, Swades?

Some walk barefooted, some ride

investors invest in technology and infrastructure, and it would be even more overwhelming
to see investors invest in the onlineeducation sector. Schemes must be brought up for the poor and the
incapable. Debate or no-debate, distancelearning in India is one of the practicable solutions to illiteracy. Online
education in India will not only promote education but even technology,
which will have an upper hand whilst representing the nation at a global stage.
Even the private sector can have a look at it. There are a lot of reputed institutes that can invest in
this kind of a model.
With cutting edge technology coming in, provisions of virtual classroom facilities can be
made. There are several perks of
studying online, for a 10-year old child, as well as a college going
student. There are places, villages, wherein young boys have work hard in the
field and in the end they don’t receive the kind of education they deserve. For
them, getting home money is imperative. However, consider that boy pursuing an advanced online course. He

Fortunately, India has some of
the best
distance education institutes that are willingly catering to varied
range of applicants; working professionals, fresh graduates, house wives, and
similar. The concept of distance learning in India, especially in urban areas
is pretty much established, however, not much in the rural areas. The
government must work on establishing a firm hold on educating the poor at a low
costs, and the only way that’s happening is through distance learning.
